Energio Controls is our open standard, open protocol lighting control platform.  Energio Controls can control both groups and individual fixtures helping you achieve Luminaire Level Control.  Energio Controls can scale from a single room to a campus wide location all on a single network.   With Energio Controls there is no single point of failure.  

With the ability to have multiple dimming protocols (ex. 0-10V, DMX, DALI, etc.) in the same group or scene without the need for a hardware integration device.

Energio Systems can integrate with both new and existing HVAC systems.  Temperature and humidity in each space can be monitored and reported to the HVAC system, often without any additional hardware.  The number of occupants in a space and be reported and scheduled events can also be taken into account.  

The data collected can also be used to plan preventive maintenance. 

In typical asset tracking systems you install dedicated receivers through out the facility. These receivers either require power at each location or batteries which cause a maintenance issue. With Energio you no longer have to install dedicated receivers. Every light fixture and/or every sensor now becomes a receiver giving you dense coverage and reducing the number of components in the building.

 With Energio every device, down to individual light fixtures and outlets can be monitored and controlled. Run time for each device can be calculated and actual consumption of each circuit or switch leg can be monitored. Based on this information power for non-critical areas or operations can be reduced.   

Fire

Energio uses the most advance thermal sensors to detect, people, over heating equipment and fires. Energio can detect fires throughout the facility and automatically alert both facility management and the fire department.

Even more importantly the system will notify each individual occupant with a custom alert. Each person will receive a custom message based on where they currently are in the facility that will direct them to the nearest exit.

Active Shooter

A tough topic to talk about, but it is unfortunately something facility managers have to think about. Energio can detect gunshots (both the sound and flash) and "tag" the shooter. The shooters exact and current location can then be relayed to law enforcement in real time. In addition occupants will reach receive a custom notification based on their current location telling them the best exit to take or to shelter in place.

Access control systems can be very labor intensive to install!  Typically data cable is pulled from each access point back to a smart server.  Almost every access control company has come up with wireless systems, using WiFi or another wireless technology.  With WiFi the system is now usually on the companies data network and could pose a hacking threat.  Companies that use Bluetooth or other short range technologies find that the distances between devices is too great, forcing them to add repeaters.  With Energio, the controls for the lighting can now work as a repeater for the access control. In addition the data from the access control can now be used by other systems in the building to adjust lighting and HVAC settings.

Our multiple function thermal sensor can "see" the the body heat image of each person in a space.  We can both count the number of people and also track their movements through the space.  The data can then be shared with the other systems on site and can be used to see where people gather and how many people are in a space at any given time.

Hot desking, hoteling, conference room reservations or any other space or asset you need to reserve can now be scheduled through the common building dashboard.  What's more is that the lighting, HVAC and air quality controls can be adjust based on your preference in each space.

Energio Systems, can supply special "people safe" lighting that disinfects both the air and surfaces.  The special wavelengths we use kills bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi and other types of pathogens.  Unlike UVC based solutions our lighting is safe for people and animals. The disinfection lighting can be scheduled, be manually turned on or be trigged by the conditions in the space, such as the number of people present.

Energio Systems, can monitor your spaces air quality to detect:

• Sulfur oxides (SOX)
• Nitrogen oxides (NOX)
• Carbon monoxide (CO)
• Carbon dioxide (CO2)
• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
• Particulate matter
• Mercury in gaseous form
• Radioactive pollutants
• Ammonia.  

The levels can then be displayed on the dashboard, used for reporting and analytics and passed along the HVAC system.

We can also monitor your office and industrial equipment.  Energy consumption, run time, location, heat levels, and vibration can all be monitored and if conditions change alerts can be sent out.  If a serious incident occurs, the system can even  automatically shut the equipment down.  The data from the monitoring can also be used to plan preventive maintenance.

One of the key advantages of the Energio approach is the reduction of components through the sharing of sensors. The most simple example is an occupancy sensor. Occupancy sensors detect when a human is present in a space. The information from this type of sensor can trigger the lighting, turn on the HVAC and alert the security system.

In a non-integrated system you could have separate occupancy sensors for each of the 3 systems in the same space.
